1. General

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the provision of lawn mowing and handyman services (“Services”) provided by Greenstone Mowing and Handyman Services Mackay(“Provider”) to clients (“Client”) in Queensland. By booking or using our Services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

The Provider agrees to perform lawn mowing, general yard maintenance, and handyman services as requested by the Client. Specific tasks, service dates, and fees will be outlined in a separate quote or invoice before commencing work.

3. Pricing and Quotes

Unless otherwise written as ‘FIXED QUOTE’, all Quotes are estimates Only. Quotes are based on estimates for an average house and the sqm area for lawn mowing and other gardening services. Some Quotes are based on an hourly basis.

We try our best to quote reasonably as possible, however, at times Quotes are subject to change and it was based from factors from clients correspondence and Google earth. These factors are.

·         The property is not as described by the Client.

·         The condition of the property is not as described during the quotation.

·         Access to either premise is limited.

·         Acts of nature, such as storms and flooding.

·         Traffic conditions, including detours and congested traffic.

·         Weekends and Public Holidays

4. Booking and Cancellation

• Bookings must be made via sms, phone, email, or Facebook page messenger and are subject to availability.

• Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of $10.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing or stipulated on the invoice.

• Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or online invoicing facility (Xero).

• Late payments may incur a late fee of 3% per day per day after 30 days.

5. Client Responsibilities

• The Client must ensure access to the property and inform the Provider of any hazards, such as pets, water pipes, or electrical wiring.

• The Client must provide accurate instructions and disclose any special requirements for the work.

6. Service Limitations

The Provider is not responsible for:

• Damage caused by hidden hazards (e.g., underground pipes, cables).

• Delays caused by weather, access issues, or other factors beyond the Provider’s control.

• We cannot provide handyman works amounting to more than $3300 as that requires appropriate licences

7. Insurance and Liability

The Provider carries public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury. However, the Provider’s liability is limited to the cost of the Services provided and does not cover indirect or consequential losses.

8. Complaints and Disputes

Complaints about the Services must be made within 7 days of completion. The Provider will work to resolve disputes amicably. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to [appropriate dispute resolution service in Queensland].

9. Termination

Either party may terminate regular mowing service agreement at any time by providing 7 days notice. The Client remains responsible for payment for any Services already provided.

10. Amendments

The Provider reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
